What do you get when you combine a beautiful, thick organic slab with a contemporary base? You get a very unique urban or contemporary look. We call this style of furniture contemporary rustic furniture. Comtemporay rustic furniture may be an oxymoron, but it is rustic furniture yet it is also contemporary or modern. This table would fit in many urban decors as well as a timber frame home or log home. Custom Sizes Available. Many more contemporary rustic furniture designs coming soon.
The wood species shown on this table design is solid black walnut crafted in northern Michigan. We have other wood species available, and several species can be stained any color desired. We DO NOT use veneers, masonite, OSB (oriented strand board), or melamine. This table top is solid wood and the base is solid forged metal. The slab has an organic, live edge. The wood slab can have a straight edge if desired. Our furniture is built to be passed down to future generations.

Woodland Creek was asked by the Jenn-Air Corporation's Designer to create a table for their booth at the National Kitchen and Bath Trade Show. A live edge slab top is combined with a modern base. Contemporary chairs and lighting give the ensemble a unique modern urban look.
